The Story of Chocolate
The Aztecs first used chocolate for “Xocolatl”, a highly spiced cocoa drink. The spanish explorer Cortéz brought back cocoa beans to Europe in 1528 and gradually its use developed over the centuries. Originally only available to the very wealthy and often prescribed as a medicine by Doctors, by the 20th Century it had spread all over the world, enjoyed by everyone.
